In an effort to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and promote public safety, NB Lung is now distributing free COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits to anyone who can pick them up at our office, located at 2-132 Main Street, on the lower level of the building.
We are offering two boxes to individuals, with each box containing five tests, ensuring that families and individuals have multiple opportunities to monitor their health and the health of those around them.
How to Get Your Free COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits:
- Visit NB Lung‘s Office: Head to NB Lung’s office at 2-132 Main Street, Fredericton, during our regular office hours (Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30).
- Wear a mask: Please help keep our staff safe, wear a mask when you enter the building. If you do not have a mask, call the office (506) 455-8961 and we can meet you outside.
- Collect Your Kits: You can pick up two boxes of COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits, each containing five tests.
- Follow Instructions: Inside each kit, you’ll find clear instructions on how to use the tests safely and effectively. Please make sure to read and follow these instructions carefully.
A note on COVID-19 Rapid Test Kit Expiration Dates
-Health Canada recognizes that COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits are considered shelf-stable. Kits provided by NB Lung are approved for use before December 22, 2024. Find more information on Authorized Medical Devices related to COVID-19 testing on Health Canada’s website.
